With over 20 years of experience teaching art, I have seen firsthand how creativity can inspire confidence, problem-solving, and joy in learning. My passion is guiding students as they explore the world of visual art, encouraging them to take risks, express themselves, and see beauty in the process as much as the final product. In our art room, every child is an artist, and every creation is a celebration of imagination.

For the past 19 years, I have had the privilege of leading an active and engaged Student Council. Together, we work to develop leadership skills, build school spirit, and give back to others. Each year, our council organizes two major service projects to support the community, projects that not only make a difference but also teach students the value of empathy, teamwork, and civic responsibility.
On Fridays after school, I host a fun and creative Art Club just for our 5th graders! It’s a place where students can explore new art techniques, work on special projects, and enjoy creating alongside friends. Any 5th grader is welcome to sign up, I will send more information in September.
