Clubs & Organizations

At Startzville we have a large variety of before and after school activities aimed at providing our students time to Synergize (Habit 6) and Sharpen their Saw (Habit 7).
First Lego League: An exciting international robotics program that ignites an enthusiasm for discovery, science, and technology in kids ages 9 to 14. Applications are due in September.
Student Lighthouse Team: Members will work closely with the Staff Lighthouse Team and be positive role models for the STZES students, staff, families, and community. Members will help plan leadership opportunities throughout the school year and ensure STZES's consistency as a Leader in Me school. Applications are due in September.
Sole Sisters: This 5th grade girls group fosters positive emotional, social, mental, and physical development in girls through the discipline of running. The focus is on inspiring girls to build confidence, support others, find their voice, become competent decision makers, realize their full potential, build lasting friendships and have fun! Please note this is not a competitive group but instead focuses on “me vs me” concept to encourage striving for personal best and supporting others to reach theirs.
Ready Set Relax: Ready Set Relax is an acronym for Release. Enjoy. Learn. Appreciate. X-pand. We invite your child to participate to encourage learning and positive self-esteem through the use of relaxation and imagination.
Kinder-1st Storytime: Students are invited to the library for storytime with our librarian before the school day starts.
Chess: Students are invited to learn and practice the exciting game of Chess. At the end of the year, students compete in a district-wide chess tournament.
Music Clubs: Students at Startzville are invited to join the Strings Club (violin), Guitar Club, or Choir Club. Applications are due in September.
