June 2, 2026 - Six Comal ISD seniors are among 36 students across Texas’ 21st congressional district to receive the 2026 Exceptional Senior Award from U.S. Representative Chip Roy. In its seventh year of existence, these honorees were selected because of their high levels of character, leadership, integrity and diligence.
This year’s Comal ISD Exceptional Senior Award honorees are the following students:
- Eric Barnard, Hill Country College Preparatory High School
- Kynadi Britt, Memorial Early College High School
- Natalie Drichta, Davenport High School
- Gabriella Goossens, Canyon High School
- Evelyn Wahrmund, Canyon Lake High School
- Summer Williams, Smithson Valley High School
“I am proud of all that the incredible young men and women of Texas’ 21st Congressional District have achieved,” says Congressman Roy. “Texans have reason to be optimistic about our great state’s destiny with them as our future leaders.”
Roy continued by thanking the families of these exceptional seniors for their love and support throughout their educational journeys. He also thanked the faculty of schools across his district who recommended them.
