(March 22, 2021 / Updated May 7, 2021) Parents who are in need of childcare this summer can find an affordable option just down the road.
Comal ISD again will offer its School Age Child Care (SACC) Summer Program to students, kindergarten through fifth grade (kindergarteners must be 5 years old on June 7, while fifth graders may be incoming or have just completed the grade).
The program is offered from June 7 through Aug. 13 (except for the July 5 holiday), Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
SACC provides a safe and fun place for participants to learn, play and grow. Educational and recreational activities include group games, guest presentations, indoor and outdoor play, healthy snacks and more. This summer, there will be several field trips to places such as ZDT’s in Seguin and the San Antonio Zoo. There also will be multiple swimming days at one of our campus swimming pools.
SACC will follow the current health and safety protocols of Comal ISD and the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. Protocols are subject to change as needed. Face coverings are optional, but participants must follow the health and safety guidelines of each business or location visited on field trips.
Weekly tuition for the SACC Summer Program is $160 per participant, plus a $30 registration fee per child (up to a $60 maximum cost per family).
Enrollment is underway. Enroll online through the SACC Parent Portal. If you're new to SACC, select the New Customers Open Account. If you already participate in a SACC program, select the Returning Customers option.
